2012-2013 Roster Presentation

After a couple practices on the ice of the Patinoire de Kockelscheuer, the team roster for the 2012-2013 season has now been published. Make sure to check the roster page here on our website. Like every year, there have been some changes in the lineup.



Last year's top scorer Colm Cannon remains with the team and will be joined in his line by former Tornado Luxembourg player Marcus Eriksson , son of former coach Joakim Eriksson. Most of the other lines have not been fixed yet and may still undergo some changes. Fact is that our youngsters Bob Schneider, Sacha Backes, Philippe Bechtold and Pit Sinner will have to take a more important role this year. Team captain Ronny Scheier and other key defensemen like François Schons will also be part of the team this year. A couple of new players will join the team aswell. For now, three new forwards have been added to the roster. Teemu Hinkula comes from Finland where he also played in the "II divisioona". Mathieu Moise comes from our opponent Metz and played in the Division 2 last year. He will without a doubt be a strong force in our offensive game. Pierre-Alexandre Cauchois also didn't play during the last two seasons, but played for the HC Meudon in the Division 2 before. Another addition will be goaltender Gilles Mangen who played in the Division 1 for the Montpellier Vipers last year. Together with goaltender Philippe Lepage , who also remains with the team, the Tornado will have a rock solid goaltending duo. Two other players may also join the team in the next two weeks, but their situation still remains unclear. Also notable is the fact that no new junior player has made this year's roster so far. But this may of course change during the season.
