Luxembourg Tornado achieved their second win in three games by winning Amiens on Saturday evening in Kockelscheuer.

Amiens had a good start for the game by scoring their first goal when the game was played only 50 seconds. That didn't shock Tornado players at all. Tornado was able to keep the control of the game flow the whole evening and they trusted that they will be able to score needed goals. Team didn't betray their fans and in the first period two Tornado goals were scored by Robert Beran and Daniel Kraval. As a sidenote it is good to mention that the age difference between these two scorers is 28 years so we can truly say that Team Tornado is a nice mixture of experience and younghood.

In the second period Tornado kept the control and only with their efficient power play Amiens was able to stay in the game. So after two periods there was 5-4 on the score board for the home team. Tornado's goals were scored by Vesa Hirvonen, Robert Beran and Bob Schneider.

Third period continued with the same storyline as two previous periods. Tornado was controlling and Amiens trying to use their powerplay. Even though Tornados didn't manage to show their best that night, game ended with clear home win by scores 8-5. In the third period goal scorers were Marcus Eriksson twice and David Muller.

Key for the the win was Tornado's senior line: Marcus Eriksson (2+0), Ossi Uotila (0+1), Robert Beran (2+2) Ronny Scheier (0+3) and Vesa Hirvonen (1+2). The average age of this line is almost higher than the average weight of Tornado's junior line.

Next Tornado will have long break with home games as next home game will be played almost in a month 12th of November. Meanwhile Tornado will play away games in Colmar and Dijon. Stay tuned and follow the game recaps from the website or the facebook group.
