Game preview - Courbevoie (Away game)

06 October 2017

On Satruday 7th of October, Tornado will travel to Courbevoie to play their second game of the season. As the game against Cergy was postponed, the team had a chance to have some quality training during the past two weeks. Coach Fical has tried to use this time efficiently and the players have been begging for mercy during the skating drills. Let’s see if it pays off on Saturday.
This weekend there are some absences. Gilles Mangen is in North America to update his hockey skills and Marcus Eriksson is in Scotland to update some other skills. Due to Mangen’s absence, Jesper Miquel will get the chance to do his debut on senior level.
Opponent Courbevoie has started the season well. They have won both of their first two games. Cergy was beaten 5-2 and Caen 6-4. Courbevoie's key to the success seems to be Finnish Uola brothers. The twins Niko (forward, 3+4 points) and Aki (defender, 2+4 points) have been taking care most of the scoring. It will be interesting to see if Tornado’s Finns can challenge Courbevoies’ ones.

Stay tuned.
