Hamri scores 3 as Tornado Luxembourg routs Cergy II, 0-8

The Tornado Luxembourg visited Cergy II on October 19th in the Patinoire Municipale Cergy, where Cergy II stumbled in a 0-8 loss. This is the 3rd consecutive loss for Cergy II and the third win in four games for the Tornados.



The game started off very tight as the teams were heading into the first intermission with a 0-0 score.



The visiting team started taking over the game in the second period. Vesa Hirvonen scored the first goal of the game for the guests at 23:33. Yannick Hamri scored another goal for the guests at 32:01. Yannick Hamri added another goal only 3 minutes later on an assist by Georges Scheier. The score was 0-3 at the end of the second.



The visitors held on to the lead and kept control of the game throughout the third and last period. At 42:50, Ronny Scheier scored another goal for the Tornado Luxembourg on a pass by Emil Folkesson. Teemu Hinkula tallied again for the Tornado Luxembourg at 46:28 after being assisted by Marcus Eriksson. At 53:04, it was Vesa Hirvonen who put the puck in the net again for the guests. Teemu Hinkula scored another goal for the guests at 56:08. Only 52 seconds later, Yannick Hamri added another goal to the sheet on a feed from Toni Jakubse. The score was 0-8 at the end of the final period.



Yannick Hamri of the Tornado Luxembourg was the topscorer of the game with 3 points. Goaltender Philippe Lepage had a shutout on 29 shots. Cergy II will play their next game on November 9th against Le Havre, whereas the Tornado Luxembourg meet with Le Havre on November 2nd.
