The Tornados will host the Beaufort Knights this Saturday 11th December (19:00 in Kockelscheuer) for the 3rd day of the D1 LHL.

This young Luxembourg Hockey League is showing its promise this season.  Division I, which includes the Puckers, the Tornados and the Beauforts Knights, is an illustration of this. Indeed, by winning the first and second leg against the Tornados, the Puckers immediately turned the tables, confirming their good form also seen in the FFHG Federal Trophy (3 wins in 3 games). The young Luxembourg Hockey League is showing its promise this season.  Division I, which includes the Puckers, the Tornados and the Beauforts Knights, is an illustration of this.Indeed, by winning the first and second leg against the Tornados, the Puckers immediately turned the tables, confirming their good form also seen in the FFHG Federal Trophy (3 wins in 3 games).  The Tornados then fell off their pedestal in a period that was already complicated for them in French D3. The cards were reshuffled. And as the Beaufort Knights are showing good form in the Belgium National League (2nd after 6 games), the future could get even darker for the Tornados in this LHL if they don't win in their double opposition against Beaufort, the first episode of which takes place this Saturday.

However, our boys are getting hopeful again with a good result last Saturday against Dijon (6-5 OT win). This victory is the result of a linear progression observed during the previous games with defeats that were sometimes due to details. But the details count. This victory also comes at a time when we are seeing new faces on the ice, which is always good for preparing the future and stimulating the emulation of the moment. A shot of confidence that comes at the right time.

To summarize the forces at work in this Division 1: We have the Tornados who have risen from the ashes like a phoenix and keep the hope of keeping their LHL title, the Beaufort Knights who are in good shape but who will have to make us forget their defeat in Heist-op-den-Berg (8-6) for their first game in the LHL. The leaders in the league remain the Puckers while waiting to meet Beaufort in 2022 but confirming in parallel their ambitions in the Trophée Loisir with a beautiful victory last Sunday against the neighbouring Amnéville (7-3). In short, all the players in this LHL are still in the race and no one can predict the final outcome. Will we have some answers this Saturday? Certainly in part if the Tornados do not win against Beaufort because they will have to make a cross on the title.

The certainty will come from the public who have understood all the stakes of this match, besides the fact that the oppositions between Tornado and Beaufort are always special. There is no doubt that Kockelscheuer will be full of the beautiful and noisy atmosphere that we love so much.
