On October 12th the Deuil-Garges visited the Tornado Luxembourg in the Patinoire Kockelscheuer, where the Tornado Luxembourg stumbled in a 1-8 loss. It was the Tornado's first loss in the last 13 games (8 of which in Alter Domus Cup).

The visiting team was dominant throughout the first period. Jean Denis Aurouze opened the scoring for the guests at 11:47 on an assist by Damien Ilczyszyn. At 13:50, Gaëtan Jeannin scored another goal for the Deuil-Garges on a feed from Damien Ilczyszyn and Jean Denis Aurouze. The guests kept the momentum on their side, as Quentin Vial scored only 56 seconds later after being assisted by Jeremy Garaud. At the end of the first, the visiting team was leading 0-3.

The visiting team didn't change it's game and hold on to the lead during the second period. Alexis Magnier tallied again for the Deuil-Garges at 23:00 after being assisted by Pierre Magnier. Quentin Vial tallied again for the Deuil-Garges at 36:07 after being assisted by Anthony Mathias. Only 1 minute later, Ronan Haif scored another goal. With 2 periods played, the score was 0-6.

The visitors proved to be the better team and held on to their lead throughout the last period. At 41:26, it was Anthony Mathias who put the puck in the net again for the guests. Gaëtan Jeannin scored another goal for the guests at 44:44. Emil Folkesson tallied for the hosts at 47:28 after being assisted by Marcus Eriksson. At the end of the final period, the score was 1-8.

Gaëtan Jeannin, Anthony Mathias and Damien Ilczyszyn were the highest scorers with 3 points each. For the Tornado Luxembourg, tonight's game was not a reflection of their usual offensive and defensive standard. The facts that their 8 points against are above this season's average of 5 and the 1 points scored are below the average 7.67 points, show that they were simply not playing their game. On October 19th the Tornado Luxembourg will face the Cergy II, while the Deuil-Garges play against the Le Havre on October 19th.
