Turkey 2012: Tornado Players nominated for Luxembourg

Today, the Luxembourgish Ice Hockey Federation officially announced it's roster for the 2012 IIHF World Championships in Erzurum, Turkey, which take place from 15.-21. April. Same as in the past years, many Tornado Players made the squat, even though this year, more players from other Luxembourgish hockey teams are on board as well. Former Tornado Luxembourg Topscorers Robert Beran and Benny Welter will now play with their former Tornado teammates again. The roster, led by Head Coach Marian Gallo and Team Manager Alain Schneider , includes 19 players and 2 goalkeepers from four different teams. Our nation is represented by 11 players from Tornado Luxembourg (L), 6 from IHC Beaufort (L), 3 from Hiversport Huskies Luxembourg (L) and 1 from the Montpellier Vipers (FR). They will all fight for the gold medal with the Red Lion on their chest. Captain of the Team will be Ronny Scheier who is also captain of the Tornado Luxembourg. He will be assisted by Patrick Schon (Tornado) and Benny Welter (IHCBE). The official roster can be found here:
