Saturday evening wasn’t Tornado’s night as they fell 7-2 to Les Coqs de Courbevoie. Despite creating some scoring opportunities, Tornado struggled to convert their chances. It’s becoming clear that more determination and sharpness will be needed in those crucial moments around the net. Â
One bright spot for Tornado fans was seeing Phil Lepage, a Tornado and national team legend, back on the ice. Making his return after a knee injury sustained during last year’s final tournament.
There won’t be any more home games before Christmas, but Tornado has two challenging road games ahead against top teams Evry Viry and Châlons. The next chance to cheer on Tornado at Kockelscheuer will be January 11 when Reims comes to town. Â
It’s clear that Tornado is facing tough times right now, but as history has shown, Tornado is always the team to watch in the spring.
