Tornado Luxembourg suffered a 5-1 road defeat against Évry-Viry on Saturday night, struggling to find their rhythm against a highly structured opponent. The hosts capitalized on a slow start, building a lead that proved too difficult to overcome. Forward Rowan Miller managed to break the shutout with a late goal before the final buzzer, but the deficit was already out of reach.

Returning to Basics
Head Coach Christer Eriksson did not shy away from the team's current challenges, emphasizing the need to clean up mistakes and start games with higher intensity.
"We are making too many bad individual decisions and we need to find back the way to playing simple and effective."

Eriksson noted that the overall level of the championship is incredibly high this season, requiring the team's absolute best every single night. The focus in practice this week will be strictly on executing simple, effective hockey and being mentally present from the opening face-off.

Breaking the Spiral in Reims
The boys have a full week to reset and prepare for another challenging road test. Next Saturday, Tornado travels to face Reims, looking to snap this streak and get back to their signature "blue working dress" identity. The team will finally return to the Kockelscheuer Cauldron on 7 November to host Courbevoie [Get your Ticket Here].
Next Game: Saturday 31 October at Reims
Next Home Game: Saturday 7 November vs. Courbevoie
