Turning the Page, Building Momentum: Next Stop Reims

30th October 2026

Tornado Luxembourg heads to Reims this Saturday, 31 October, determined to bounce back and regain momentum in the Division 2 championship. Currently sitting in 8th place with 4 points, the team is focused on building on its strengths, finding consistency and turning the upcoming road game into an opportunity to move forward in the standing

A Wounded Opponent
Reims currently holds the 5th spot in Group A with 7 points, but they are also entering the weekend looking for answers. They suffered a heavy 7-2 defeat at the hands of Brest last Saturday. With both teams desperate for a bounce-back performance and eager to prove themselves, fans can expect a highly physical and intensely motivated matchup from the opening face-off.

Back to Basics
Following last week's 5-1 loss to Évry-Viry, Coach Christer Eriksson was completely clear about the adjustments needed. The team must eliminate poor individual decisions, execute a simple and effective brand of hockey, and above all, be entirely present from the first whistle. In a championship where the overall level is incredibly high, putting on the "blue working dress" and executing structured, disciplined hockey is the only way to secure points on the road.

A road victory this weekend would perfectly set the stage for Tornado's highly anticipated return to the Kockelscheuer Cauldron on 7 November [Get your Ticket Here!] against Courbevoie.
Let's break this spiral and get back to winning ways. Allez Tornado! 💙🤍❤️
